I am a research biologist at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (NMSF/NOAA). I use gradients in the sea to ask fundamental and applied questions about marine biodiversity maintenance in a time of rapid change, with a special focus on the resilience of habitat-forming species. My current work as the mariculture and macroalgae lead researcher focuses on enhancing the capacity for kelp and bivalve aquaculture in the State of Alaska while ensuring its ecological sustainability. |
